(V)owls
(V)owls is an Americana band born out of the heart of Gainesville, Florida. We are a group of artists and musicians/songwriters that have come together to share our individual and collective messages through musical performance and creating powerful art.
Founded in 2016, at a local coffee shop’s open mic night as a soulful stringed duo on a small stage, we have now grown to a five piece band including drums, bass, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keyboard, and hip hop/freestyle. Our shows consist of mostly original music, and are often accompanied by colorful psychedelic backdrops.
Often described as heart music, pulling on the strings of your myocardium, our music has evolved to plug into the soul and leave our listeners feeling better than before, with a sense of community and home.
We have proudly produced four studio albums including our newest seventeen-track release Together in this Moment. Our music is available on all streaming platforms.
