(V)owls
We are (V)owls, an Americana band born out of the heart of Gainesville, Florida. We are a group of artists and musicians/songwriters that have come together to share our individual and collective messages through musical performance and creating powerful art.
(V)owls was founded in 2016 at a local coffee shop’s open mic night. Starting as a soulful stringed duo on a small stage, we have now grown to a six piece band including drums, bass, guitar, electric guitar, keyboard, banjo-ukulele, saxophone, and hip hop/freestyle. Our shows are comprised of mostly original music, and are accompanied by colorful psychedelic back drops. Our music fills our listeners with a sense of community and Home.
Our sound can also be described as Heart Music. Pulling on the strings of your myocardium, our music has evolved to plug into your soul and leave you feeling better than before.
We have proudly produced three studio albums and are working on a forth, jammed packed with original music.
We love what we do, and we are available to do it.
